Rachael Russ

2018-2019 CHSRA District 2 Queen Rachael Russ

Welcome to CHSRA D2! Rachael Russ is honored to serve as the 2018-2019 CHSRA District Two rodeo queen. At State Finals Rachael represented District Two well by winning the Appearance Contest, tying for second with her answer to the Impromptu question, and placing third in Horsemanship. Rachael is the daughter of Lane and Lisa Russ and older sister to Rebecca and Regan (aka Shorty). Rachael grew up working on the family cattle ranch and is looking forward to her fifth year of competing in barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying. Two years ago Rachael began competing in the reined cow horse event and qualified last year for the State Finals.
Rachael is a senior at St. Bernard's Academy in Eureka, California. She is the Vice President of her FFA Chapter and the North Coast Section Reporter. Rachael also serves as a representative of 4-H on the Humboldt County Junior Livestock Auction Board. District Two is a great family and Rachael looks forward to competing, promoting the great sport of rodeo, meeting our newest members, and making new friends and memories that will last a lifetime.
